2026 International Audio-Visual Arts Carnival

The carnival is structured around four primary sections: an international audiovisual arts experience exhibition, an audiovisual wonderland-themed immersive show, a high-level international audiovisual arts and technology salon, and the International Audiovisual Arts Night. The experience exhibition is designed to showcase technological achievements from national media organizations, leading international brands, domestic technology companies, and universities.

A central highlight is the "audiovisual wonderland" immersive show, set to run from September 25 to 27. This show will blend music, dance, intangible cultural heritage, and live performances with cutting-edge technologies such as 3D mapping, motion capture, light-shadow tracking, and LiDAR-based interactive technology to transform traditional culture into vivid, engaging stories for the audience.

In conjunction with the main carnival, Jing’an District will host a series of cross-period, multi-scenario events from September 19 to mid-October. These include the fourth edition of “Shining Shanghai Light Up Jing’an”, AI+Mid Autumn Festival-themed audiovisual arts innovation activities, the 14th Shibei Beer Festival, and the international sci-tech culture and fashion week. The sci-tech culture and fashion week, taking place in the Nanjing West Road commercial area from September 28 in partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group, will feature nearly 100 special events highlighting innovation in AI, the metaverse, and fashion consumption, transforming the commercial street into an "innovation laboratory."
