CHIIKAWA DAYS 上海

The exhibition transforms the South Plaza and Nanjing West Road areas into a world dedicated to the popular characters Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi. The main ticketed zone, “CHIIKAWA’s Everyday Life,” consists of nine themed rooms covering daily activities and adventures from the series, including settings like the characters' homes and a three-star restaurant. A massive nine-meter tall inflatable sculpture of the main trio is also installed at the junction of Nanjing West Road and Changde Road.

A unique highlight of the event is the Shanghai-exclusive “CHIIKAWA Longtang Eats” zone. This area integrates local food culture by depicting characters as traditional Shanghainese delicacies such as pan-fried buns, pork mooncakes, and crab roe soup dumplings. Various mall tenants, including Paper Stone Bakery, participate by offering official co-branded food items inspired by the series.

The venue includes a pop-up store on Level 2 accessible to ticket holders, offering more than 50 licensed items and exclusive city-themed souvenirs. Tickets are managed through the Maoyan platform, with various tiers including special gift sets containing name tag charms and RFID-enabled accessories. The exhibition aims to provide a comprehensive itinerary combining shopping, dining, and interactive displays.
