Taking place from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, the Hungarian Harvest Festival is organized by the Árpádhon Hungarian Settlement Cultural Association at Fayard Field in Springfield. The event highlights traditional Hungarian culture with music performed by students from Southeastern Louisiana University and the Albany High School band, as well as performances by Hungarian folk dancers from New Orleans.

Attendees can enjoy a wide array of activities, including carnival games and rides such as a Ferris wheel and giant slide. Friday evening is designated as family night, offering a special $30 carnival bracelet for unlimited ride access. The festival hosts 70 vendors selling various items, including fortunetellers and jewelry makers. Authentic Hungarian food is a centerpiece, with thousands of handmade cabbage rolls prepared for the event. Other scheduled activities include a traditional art and wine auction, and performances by the Lauren Lee Band and Thomas Cain.
