The Arts in Tank Dance Festival (ADFK), now in its ninth year, will be held at Oil Tank Culture Park in western Seoul from Sunday, June 28, to July 3, 2026. This prominent culture and arts complex, built from repurposed oil tanks, serves as the venue for the festival, which aims to be a vibrant center for global artistic exchange.

Led by artistic director Choi Moon-ea, the festival will host artists from 12 countries, including the United States, France, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, and Japan. The event has evolved beyond a traditional performance-based festival to function as a comprehensive international dance platform. Its objective is to foster a sustainable network where both local and international choreographers can inspire one another and co-create across borders.

To facilitate international collaboration, the festival has established partnerships with eight overseas institutions, such as the Seattle International Dance Festival, the Los Angeles Dance Festival, Festival Accorps, and the Movement Slavil Festival. Supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government's private festival subsidy program, it also collaborates with regional cultural bodies like the Mapo Cultural Center. The program features marathon dance performances across various genres from June 30 to July 3, a closing gala show, and international collaborations blending dance, music, and digital arts. Attendees can also participate in international dance workshops and enjoy the Arts in Tank Dance Film Festival, offered both on-site and online.
