Ennis Trad Festival

The Ennis Trad Festival, now in its 32nd edition, is set to return from November 5 to 9, 2026. The five-day event celebrates traditional Irish music and will be held in the medieval town of Ennis, County Clare, with activities spanning various venues. The program features a diverse lineup of performers, including acclaimed groups such as the Máirtín O’Connor Band, the Karan Casey Trio, and Buttons & Bows.

Attendees can expect four flagship concerts, alongside over 100 music sessions, album launches, masterclasses, a trad quiz, and a céilí. Specific concert highlights include Peter Street performing at the Queens Hotel, Scottish band Cala showcasing their post-traditional sound, and Buttons & Bows headlining the Sunday night concert at the Old Ground Hotel. The festival will conclude with a double bill concert featuring the Máirtín O’Connor Band and Karan Casey Trio at the Queens Hotel.

In partnership with the Clare Arts Office, the festival will also host a special program bringing traditional musicians from across Europe to Ennis. This initiative is part of Ireland’s 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union, allowing European musicians to join session trails, perform alongside Irish artists in a free concert at glór, and visit local schools to share their musical traditions.
