Mysuru Zoo hosts the Wildlife Photography Competition and Exhibition annually in conjunction with Wildlife Week celebrations. The photography exhibition runs daily from October 2 to 8, between 10 am and 5 pm, showcasing submitted photographs.

The competition includes two categories: ex-situ conservation (zoo category) and in-situ conservation (wildlife category). Participants can submit up to two 12"x18" un-mounted photographs per section, with an entry fee of Rs. 100 for each. Submissions for the competition must be made at the Zoo office in Mysuru before September 24, during office hours from 10 am to 5 pm. Award-winning photographs from the contest will be displayed during the exhibition.
