This year's Battle of the Bands saw 177 applications, with nine acts advancing to the studio phase before five were selected for the live performance. The ultimate winner will receive an invitation to record music with Santa Cruz Recording producer Jim Wirt. Additionally, runners-up will be awarded professional recording opportunities, which include the chance to record a single at the Santa Cruz Recording studio. The event will also showcase a performance by Rosewood, the winner of the 2025 competition. Pinup Productions, Conspiracy Coffee, and Wendyspresso are sponsoring the concert.
