15th Charity Fashion Show

The 15th Charity Fashion Show serves as a major fundraising initiative for Children of Jamaica Outreach (COJO) Inc, a New York-based organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable youth. Held in Westbury, Long Island, the event brings together the Jamaican diaspora and corporate sponsors to aid children living in state-run homes and local schools across Jamaica. Since its inception in 1994, COJO has acted as a support network for these children, providing both essential supplies and long-term educational opportunities.

The 2026 edition highlights the creative work of prominent designers Courtney Washington and Hope Wade. Washington’s showcase features a collection designed as a tribute to Jamaica, intended to reflect the island's vibrant culture. Hope Wade, an established designer with work featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, presents a selection of 25 pieces that include her signature burlap designs alongside formal evening wear.

Proceeds from the fashion show contribute to a legacy of outreach that includes over US$300,000 in university scholarships awarded since 2012. In addition to academic support, the funds help provide childcare homes with critical infrastructure and appliances, such as industrial kitchen equipment and laundry facilities, as well as specialized projects like library construction.
