Mower County Fair

The Mower County Fair is an annual community festival scheduled to take place in Mower County, US, from August 11 to 16, 2026. The fair aims to offer a blend of traditional attractions and new experiences for its visitors, with activities typically kicking off on a Tuesday evening.

A significant new addition for this year is the "Sing It Big! Karaoke Competition," which is set to launch the grandstand events on August 11 at 6:30 p.m. This competition, replacing the usual Motokazie races, will feature cash prizes for the top three contestants and is free to the public. The grandstand schedule also includes Autocross Racing on August 12 at 7 p.m., an NTPA Tractor Pull on August 13 at 7 p.m., Great Frontier Bull Riding on August 14-15 at 7 p.m., and the Masters of Disaster Demolition Derby on August 16 at 2 p.m.

Beyond the grandstand, other new attractions at the fair include a dinosaur show and museum, the return of draft horses, and for the first time in 20 years, daily baby chick hatching. The fair hosts opening ceremonies, where individuals like the Fair Person of the Year are honored, and features various exhibitions in the Creative Arts building. A range of new food vendors will be present, including Ole and Lena’s, YoYo Yummies, Stagecoach BBQ, La Borinqua, and Mami Churros and Creamery.
