An Extraordinary Celebration 2026: Legacy of Love

An Extraordinary Celebration 2026: Legacy of Love is presented as Singapore's largest inclusive performing arts event, scheduled for July 30, 2026. Hosted at The Theatre at Mediacorp, this seventh annual edition brings together close to 400 performers. Participants include young people from various mainstream and special education (SPED) schools, such as APSN Tanglin School, Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School, Metta School, Raffles Girls’ School, and Tampines Meridian Junior College.

The event, organized by the charity Extraordinary People Limited (EPL), aims to advocate for inclusion through the performing arts. It features music and dance performances, paying tribute to the teachers, therapists, caregivers, and mentors who support the young performers. Veteran entertainer Najip Ali serves as the creative director, with singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono contributing as a mentor, collaborator, and performer. Former president Halimah Yacob will be the guest of honor.

There will be two performances on July 30: a matinee show at 3pm and an evening show at 7:30pm. For those unable to attend in person, the performances will be livestreamed on EPL’s official website and YouTube channel. The event also serves as a platform for EPL to identify and develop students with artistic potential, furthering its mission of promoting learning and creation together across different backgrounds.
