Jom Makan Ipoh 2026 Expo

Organized by the Kepayang constituency service centre and various strategic partners, the Jom Makan Ipoh 2026 Expo is designed to promote Malaysia's diverse food heritage as a tool for national unity. The event runs daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM and is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors. It features more than 50 stalls showcasing agricultural products and 12 signature Ipoh specialties, including Laksa Buyong, Ipoh White Coffee, bean sprout chicken rice, and kacang putih.

Beyond food stalls, the expo includes six dedicated Ipoh Food Culture Galleries that explore the history and evolution of local cuisine, covering themes such as the tin mining era and traditional sambal. The program also features cultural performances, 'Food Talks Ipoh' sessions, and the launch of a QR-based Digital Food Map to assist tourists. The festival concludes with a lucky draw and a fireworks display, with organizers aiming to establish the expo as a permanent fixture on the Perak tourism calendar.
