Penang Puppet Festival 2026 (PPF) returns for its third edition from 12–23 August 2026 in Penang, with the theme BERBUNGA. The festival explores puppetry as a living tradition that continues to evolve across generations.

The programme includes performances, exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, forums and community programmes featuring forms of puppetry such as POTEHI, Teochew iron-rod puppetry, Wayang Kulit Kelantan, contemporary puppetry and shadow theatre.
