2026 Vocational Fair

The 2026 Vocational Fair, a free Catholic culture event, took place in Seoul on August 8-9, 2026. Held along the road near Deoksu Palace and Seoul City Hall’s Seosomun Annex, the fair was organized by the local committee for World Youth Day (WYD) Seoul 2027 and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It served as a small-scale preview and a one-year countdown event for the global WYD festival scheduled for August 3-8, 2027, in Seoul.

Under the theme “Moments That Bring Us Together,” the fair focused on cultural exchange and conversation rather than formal religious instruction. It brought together 48 religious orders, nine devotional and apostolic organizations, and youth communities. Visitors engaged in various activities, including interactive booths, mini-game stations, and cultural-experience zones offering rosary bracelet-making, calligraphy, nano-block cross building, and tattoo stickers with Catholic imagery. A distinctive program, the "Vocation Cafe," allowed participants to engage in informal discussions with priests and nuns about career, life choices, relationships, and faith.
