Ireland Woodland Show

The Ireland Woodland Show takes place at Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum in Inistioge, located in County Kilkenny. This event celebrates the skills of Ireland's best wood carvers, including renowned artists like Eoin Reardon, Jack Pilson, and Michael Pollerton, alongside members from organizations such as the Saw Millers Guild and the south-east chapter of the Woodturners Guild.

Visitors to the show can explore an on-site craft village offering a diverse range of crafts and demonstrations. Horticultural enthusiasts can also find specialist plant stands. A popular attraction is the Celtic Chainsaw Carvers, known for their impressive sculptures, which have included creations like dragons and giants.

The show provides entertainment with live music performances throughout the weekend. Past musical guests have included New Ross singer-songwriter Hugh Miller and The Nomads, as well as the Waterford Choir Group and The Rower’s own Nothing’s Perfect. The event is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Kilkenny Co Council, and the Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum team.
