Dingle Film Festival

The Dingle Film Festival, now in its fourth year, is set to return to Dingle, Co Kerry, from November 13 to 15, 2026. The three-day event will feature a diverse program of Irish, Irish-language, and international films, encompassing features, documentaries, and short films. In addition to screenings, the festival offers talks, workshops, and masterclasses tailored for filmmakers and actors.

Actor Timothy V. Murphy, known for his roles in *Sons of Anarchy* and *True Detective*, is slated to be a guest, participating in an 'in-conversation' event on Saturday, November 14. The festival will open with Grant Gee's *Everybody Digs Bill Evans*, which will be screened at An Díseart on Friday, November 13, followed by a Q&A session with screenwriter Mark O’Halloran. Other films announced include Lance Daly’s *Trad*, Frank Berry’s *The Lost Children of Tuam*, and Steven Soderbergh’s *The Christophers*. The documentary lineup features Garry Keane’s *A Quiet Love*, Ian Thuillier’s *Guggi*, and Gar O’Rourke’s *The Siege of Paradise*.

Beyond film screenings, the festival includes an industry program with sessions led by screenwriters and producers, alongside a bilingual panel discussing funding and opportunities for Irish-language filmmaking. A dedicated family program will also present Irish-language versions of children's films such as *The Highway Rat* and *Zog*.
