These community events take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29. Activities include Faith Zacherle-Tonasket of the Sinixt Confederacy sharing traditional plant teachings and, alongside Kate Mizenka of Elk Root Conservation, leading an elderberry tea making and tasting session.

Author Eileen Delehanty Pearkes will also lead a discussion focused on the Columbia River, salmon restoration, and artifacts. Registration is required for participants and can be completed through the Trail library website or by calling 250-364-1731.
