7th Summer Camp for Diaspora Youth

The 7th Summer Camp for Diaspora Youth serves as a significant platform for connecting young Azerbaijanis living abroad with their ancestral homeland. Held in the Eastern Zangezur region from August 2 to 8, 2026, the program combines cultural immersion with educational workshops. This edition focused heavily on the intersection of heritage and future technologies, providing a space for diaspora youth to engage with experts on national development.

Activities during the camp included specialized panels such as 'The role of innovative ecosystems in the digital development of Azerbaijan.' These sessions addressed the growth of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the importance of information security. A major attraction of the event was a humanoid robot show, which illustrated the country's focus on technological innovation.

Managed by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora alongside the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, this camp follows previous iterations held in locations like Shusha, Nakhchivan, and Lachin. The initiative aims to build a global network of young professionals while fostering a deeper understanding of Azerbaijan’s current socio-economic and technological landscape.
