AlUla Skies Festival 2026

The AlUla Skies Festival 2026, taking place from November 6 to 15 in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, is designed to showcase the region's extraordinary landscape and its status as the Gulf's first certified Dark Sky Reserve. The festival offers a diverse program combining early morning thrills with unforgettable evenings, leveraging AlUla's minimal light pollution and clear desert air for exceptional celestial viewing.

Key attractions include the AlUla Skyrise, a shared hot air balloon journey providing panoramic views over ancient landscapes like Hegra. Complementing this, the Hot Air Balloon Glow Show features illuminated balloons, music, lighting, projections, fire performers, and aerial artists, staged at Hegra on November 6 and 7, and at Elephant Rock on November 13 and 14. For a more accessible experience, the Tethered Hot Air Balloon Experience at Al Manshiyah offers controlled ascents up to 50 meters, ideal for families.

After sunset, the festival focuses on astronomy with stargazing sessions at AlUla Fort from 7pm to 11pm on various dates, utilizing telescopes and guided by astronomers and Rawi storytellers. Outdoor entertainment also includes VOX Moonlight Cinema screenings at Our Habitas AlUla, and Husaak offering stargazing experiences and hikes. For those seeking relaxation, Sunset Stillness sessions with guided meditation, sound immersion, and breathwork are available at Our Habitas AlUla on November 13 and 14.
