Red Sea International Film Festival

The Red Sea International Film Festival is an event that celebrates cinema, creativity, and cultural dialogue. Its sixth edition, originally planned earlier, has been postponed to the fourth quarter of 2027. This decision was made after a comprehensive review of logistical requirements and reflects the Red Sea Film Foundation’s commitment to delivering a high-quality experience.

The festival aims to strengthen its position on the international film festival landscape by returning with a renewed vision and a program that highlights filmmakers from Saudi Arabia, the region, and around the world. In the interim, the Red Sea Film Foundation will continue its mission of supporting filmmakers and the film industry through its year-round ecosystem, including the Red Sea Fund, Red Sea Labs, and other initiatives. Additionally, year-round programming at Culture Square in Historic Jeddah will commence in November 2026, serving as a continuous hub for film screenings, cultural events, and specialized industry programs.
