The Rocky Horror Show

The iconic musical, The Rocky Horror Show, returns to Johannesburg for an exciting run from October 23 to December 6, 2026. Presented by Pieter Toerien Productions in association with Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) and directed by Steven Stead, this restaging promises to bring back the show's wild energy, wicked humor, and rock 'n' roll rebellion.

Audiences can look forward to a high-voltage theatrical experience featuring unforgettable songs like 'Time Warp', 'Sweet Transvestite', and 'Hot Patootie – Bless My Soul'. The story follows sweethearts Brad and Janet as they encounter the charismatic Dr. Frank 'n' Furter and his eccentric household, embarking on a subversive journey of transformation and self-realization.

The show will be performed at the Pieter Toerien Main Theatre at Montecasino, located at 1 Montecasino Blvd, Fourways. The cast includes Craig Urbani reprising his role as Frank-N-Furter, with Léa Blerk as Janet, Robert Everson as Brad, and Schoemann Smit as Riff, among others. Performances are scheduled from Wednesday to Friday at 7:30 PM, Saturday at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Tickets range from R200 to R495 and can be booked via Webtickets.
