Northern Cape Arts Music and Jazz Festival Expo

Conceived in 2021 by founder Quinton Mlaza, the Northern Cape Arts Music and Jazz Festival Expo seeks to establish Kimberley as a vibrant cultural hub and attract visitors from across South Africa, thereby boosting local tourism and economic activity. The festival incorporates a "Diverse Arts and Crafts Day," offering a platform for local vendors and artisans to display and sell their work.

The event plans to feature more than 30 performers, offering a rich musical experience spanning various genres. Confirmed artists include DJ Tumzar, known for his amapiano and house sounds, and DJ Taku, who will deliver a set ranging from soulful jazz to jazz-infused amapiano, culminating in a special sunset slot tribute dedicated to Kimberley. Stanley "Pelo SKM" Maphile is also set to perform jazz, soul, and R&B, while DJ Soulheights will bring a jazzy deep-house sound. Performances for DJ Taku and Soulheights are noted to take place at THE VLAK Lifestyle Kimberley.

Early-bird tickets are available at national retailers such as Shoprite, Checkers, and Usave Money Market stores. Festivalgoers are encouraged to explore Kimberley's historical sites, including the iconic Big Hole, as part of their visit, contributing to a broader city-wide celebration of arts and culture.
