Indus RAS (Robotics and Autonomous Systems) Expo 2026

The Indus RAS (Robotics and Autonomous Systems) Expo 2026 is a significant national technology exhibition held from July 22 to 23 at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad, Pakistan. Organized by the National Technology Fund (Ignite), under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), the expo serves as a platform to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, academia, startups, investors, and technology professionals. It is designed to bolster Pakistan's robotics ecosystem, accelerate the integration of autonomous technologies across various strategic sectors, and is part of the broader Indus AI initiative.

The event features a diverse array of innovations, including defense robotics, drone technologies, industrial automation, maritime autonomous systems, agritech, Physical AI, and human-machine collaboration. Leading universities, research institutions, technology companies, and public-sector organizations will display locally developed products, advanced prototypes, applied research, and conduct live technology demonstrations. The expo is organized in collaboration with the National Centre of Robotics and Automation (NCRA) and the NUST College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (E&ME).

Key attractions for attendees include the RAS Innovation Challenge and the RoboWars Competition, offering students and engineers a chance to present original solutions to experts. The expo also hosts high-level plenary sessions for knowledge exchange and an Immersive Experience Dome, which uses 360-degree digital storytelling to inspire future innovators. The event is open to the public on both days, highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to fostering innovation and strengthening academia-industry collaboration.
