Coffee Marathon

The Coffee Marathon is an annual public event held in the Ntungamo District of Uganda, organized by the Inspire Coffee Group. The festival integrates sports, music, and cultural activities to highlight the importance of coffee farming in the region. The 2026 edition specifically focuses on supporting the IK community of Karamoja by demonstrating how coffee production can create sustainable jobs and support local families.

The event draws significant attention through its high-profile entertainment lineup, managed by Talent Africa Group. American actor and R&B singer Tyrese Gibson is a confirmed performer for the October edition, following a previous headlining appearance by Diamond Platnumz. Organizers also anticipate the presence of other international figures, such as Tim Weah, to help elevate the global profile of the associated Africa Coffee Fest.

By bringing together athletes, farmers, and tourists, the marathon serves as a platform for both community empowerment and tourism promotion. It seeks to shine a light on the challenges and successes of coffee-growing communities while providing a large-scale entertainment and sporting experience for attendees from across Uganda and beyond.
