This ambitious exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts, originated from the Sarawak Art Expedition & Field Trip Programme. The program brought artists across the region to interpret Sarawak's diverse landscapes, communities, traditions, and daily life through their art.

Throughout its duration, the Hoan Gallery will feature a changing selection and arrangement of artworks, ensuring visitors encounter new perspectives as the exhibition progresses. The event also includes workshops and other programs, providing additional engagement opportunities.

A notable highlight of Under Sarawak Skies is the premiere of its documentary, produced by Big Lau Studios. This film offers an exclusive look into the artists' journey across Sarawak and the inspirations behind their exhibited works. All artworks displayed in the exhibition are available for purchase.
