Hip:Dorak Festival

Taking place at Sinjungang Market, the Hip:Dorak Festival is designed to showcase the unique character of one of Seoul's popular traditional markets. The event specifically targets younger generations and commuters, blending the market's long-standing heritage with contemporary influences. It is the second in a series of three fall festivals organized by the Jung District office to promote local alleyway shopping districts.

Visitors can explore outdoor night market stalls featuring food pairings that bridge the gap between classic market fare and modern recipes developed by younger merchants. In addition to the food offerings, the festival features live music performances and interactive elements such as beer coupon giveaways. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., aiming to increase evening foot traffic and provide a vibrant community atmosphere for residents and tourists alike.
