Organized by the Pécs Men’s Choir Foundation, the European Wine Festival has historically attracted a diverse international participation, with over 3,000 singers from 32 countries. This anniversary edition will feature various performers, including those from Hungary, Croatia, and Italy, with a special mention of participants from the island of Sardinia.

A key component of the festival is the fourth annual Bordalnok Singing Competition, which aims to engage a younger audience and promote responsible wine consumption. Contestants will showcase their talents at various venues, including cellar concerts, concert halls, and outdoor stages. The festival culminates in a gala evening at the Kodály Center in Pécs, where music and wine will be celebrated in a special concert.

Running concurrently with the main festival, the 15th Villány Premium Wine Tasting offers attendees the opportunity to sample 33 wines, including selections from the Villány Franc Top 12. Featured performers at the festival include the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, Liszt Prize-winning opera singer István Kovács, the Béla Bartók Men’s Choir, and the Misina Folk Dance Ensemble, among others.
