The "Undercurrent" exhibition showcases the textile art of Gillian Adams and Sally-Anne Gaffikin, both of whom are studying textile art and artefacts at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD). This is their second exhibition together, with their first having been held at the National Maritime Museum.

Gillian Adams's work for "Undercurrent" focuses on the nature of fabric and its ageing process, particularly the effects of the sea on lost garments, exploring the traces left by time and untold stories. Sally-Anne Gaffikin's pieces are inspired by her relationship with the sea and items found on beaches in Dalkey, Killiney, and Dún Laoghaire, such as driftwood and fishing ropes, celebrating the beauty in debris and the boundary between land and sea. The exhibition is located in Abbeyleix Library.
