Happy Inde Festival

The fourth Happy Inde Festival will be held in Nice, France, from October 3 to 10, 2026, dedicated to showcasing Indian culture with a special emphasis on the heritage and traditions of Rajasthan. Organized by Lez’arts Indiens and Espace Magnan, the festival is presented as part of the France-India Year of Innovation 2026, aiming to promote Indian artists and strengthen cultural ties between Nice and India. Dancer Senu Sapera and musician Anwar Hussain are set to serve as patrons for this year's edition.

The festival offers a rich and varied program of public activities, including music, dance, cinema, fashion, crafts, gastronomy, and exhibitions, taking place at venues throughout Nice. Notable events include the official opening at Stockfish on Saturday, October 3, and the festival's inaugural cricket match at Stade Charles Ehrmann on Sunday, October 4. Other highlights include a Kalbelia dance workshop on October 7 and the Royal Threads of India fashion show at Hôtel Le Negresco on October 9. An exhibition titled "Kalligraphie, dialogues encrés entre l’Inde et la France" will explore the artistic and cultural connections between India and France. The eight-day festival concludes at Espace Magnan on Saturday, October 10, following numerous shows, concerts, workshops, talks, and family activities.
