These community events are scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29. Activities include Faith Zacherle-Tonasket of the Sinixt Confederacy sharing traditional plant teachings. Zacherle-Tonasket will also lead an elderberry tea making and tasting session alongside Kate Mizenka from Elk Root Conservation.

Author Eileen Delehanty Pearkes will facilitate a discussion covering the Columbia River, salmon restoration efforts, and related artifacts. Registration is required for all participants and can be completed via the Trail library website or by calling 250-364-1731.
