Comox Valley Arts Gallery’s Fall Film Festival

The Comox Valley Arts Gallery’s Fall Film Festival is scheduled to present a curated selection of 12 films at the Landmark Cinema in Comox Valley. The festival runs from September 16 to December 2, 2026, offering local audiences an opportunity to view diverse cinematic works.

The program includes films that were also part of the Toronto International Film Festival, showcasing a variety of genres and international origins. The selection features an Irish comedy-drama, a Finnish-Swedish adaptation, a black comedy, a film set on Vancouver Island by an L’nu filmmaker, and a story exploring Nigeria during a 1993 election crisis. Other entries include a Palme d’Or winning film set in 1980s Tokyo, a drama based on a Tourette's Syndrome advocate, a German film traversing different eras, and a Japanese film centered on ballroom dance.

Tickets are available for $20 per film ($19 for Comox Valley Art Gallery members), with a series package for all 12 films priced at $220 ($209 for members). Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for screenings, and proceeds from ticket sales support the gallery's exhibition and outreach activities.
