On Tuesday, July 14, at 7:30 p.m., Oakland’s hip-hop group Souls of Mischief will perform at The Broom Factory, with opening acts Bag$ and Swordwall. Tickets for this show are $47.59. The following day, Wednesday, July 15, singer-songwriter Fiver, also known as Simone Schmidt, will present a solo show at 12 Cataraqui St. (Unit 1), starting at 7 p.m. The Wednesday performance is a "pay what you can" event, with a suggested donation of $20. Kingston’s Piner will open the show for Fiver, who is known for songs about the former Kingston asylum and has recently released a new record titled 'Cleaning House'.
