The 21st Torta Fest took place in Mexico City from July 30 to August 3, 2026, celebrating Mexico’s culinary culture through the traditional torta, a Mexican sandwich. The event was held at the Venustiano Carranza central esplanade.

A major highlight of the festival was the creation of the world’s largest torta, which received a Guinness World Records title after being assembled by more than 100 torta makers. The record-breaking sandwich was shared with attendees after certification.

The festival also included around 100 exhibitors, participation from Mexican states and guest countries, culinary offerings, free concerts, workshops, and family-oriented entertainment.
