Pride Barcelona

Pride Barcelona is an annual, month-long LGBTQIA+ celebration taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from June 28 to July 18, 2026. Recognized as one of the most important LGBTQIA+ events in southern Europe, it combines advocacy, visibility, and celebration throughout the city. The 2026 campaign is themed 'All Realities, One Pride' and focuses on intersectionality.

The festivities culminate with the annual Pride demonstration and parade. The parade begins at Plaça Universitat and proceeds down Gran Via and Passeig de Sant Joan, concluding at Passeig Lluís Companys. Two stages are set up at the start and end points of the parade route, hosting various performances by artists, DJs, drag acts, and showcases of queer culture.

Beyond the parade, the event features a diverse program, including the High Heel Race, dance classes by Panteres Grogues, the return of the Pride Village, and specific community-focused events like a screening of "Cashing Out" and "Hablemos de Chuches" addressing topics such as the HIV/AIDS epidemic and chemsex. Pride Barcelona also uses the platform to project Barcelona as an open and committed city, advocating for rights and seeking to host WorldPride 2030.
