eKasi Business Expo

The expo's core objective is to facilitate direct engagement between small businesses from regions such as Inanda, Ntuzuma, and KwaMashu, and various government departments and development agencies. Attendees have the opportunity to showcase their products and services while connecting with organizations that provide business development, training, and vital funding support.

Organized by the Icebolethu Foundation in collaboration with partners including the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), the Moses Kotane Research Institute, Ithala, eThekwini Municipality, and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), the eKasi Business Expo focuses on long-term empowerment. Rather than merely offering a platform for sales, the initiative aims to connect entrepreneurs with existing programs and institutions that can offer sustained assistance, helping them overcome common challenges like access to finance and fostering growth beyond informal trading.
