Decorex Joburg 2026, recognized as Africa's premier décor and design exhibition, is scheduled to take place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Sandton, Johannesburg, from July 30 to August 2, 2026. The event promises four days of extensive inspiration, transforming the venue's five floors to cover all aspects of home and lifestyle design.

The exhibition is structured around the theme 'The Soft Life', which explores how thoughtful design can contribute to homes that prioritize comfort, wellbeing, connection, and everyday joy. Visitors can explore various dedicated areas, including Level -2 for property, renovation, and home improvement, featuring "The Property Show by Private Property." Level 0 focuses on kitchens and bathrooms, hosting installations like "The Sacred Pause," and offers diverse food experiences. Level 2 is dedicated to "100% Design Africa," celebrating contemporary African creativity with designers, artists, and makers from across the continent.

Levels 4 and 5 are designated for shopping local design at the "Capitec Design MRKT," where independent designers and makers sell art, ceramics, textiles, fashion, and jewelry. The top floor also showcases South Africa's leading furniture and décor brands with curated room settings. Beyond design, Decorex Joburg 2026 integrates food and hospitality throughout the exhibition, providing various culinary experiences from Japanese cuisine and gourmet street food to wine bars and long-table dining, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
