Emergency responders transported the injured to local hospitals, where they were listed in stable condition, while panicked festivalgoers sought shelter among the event's tents.

Following the tragedy, organizers and Toledo city officials canceled all activities planned for Sunday, June 7. Organizers announced that continuing the festival would not be compassionate or responsible given the community's trauma. Despite the unprecedented cancellation of its 2026 run, the festival remains a highly iconic and valued tradition for the Toledo region.
