The Wedding Singer

"The Wedding Singer" is a stage musical presented by Cascades Theatrical Company at Cascades Theatre in Bend, Oregon. Running from June 4 to June 14, 2026, the production is based on the popular 1998 Adam Sandler film and is directed and music directed by Rachel Robinson. The story follows Robbie, a wedding singer (played by Andrew Mayhill) who loses faith in love after being left at the altar, only to find new hope when he meets Julia (played by Adeline Whitener), a waitress engaged to the wrong man.

The show is described as a two-and-a-half-hour experience of joy, featuring the original songs "Somebody Kill Me" and "Grow Old With You" from the film, alongside a musical score written specifically for the stage. It aims to transport the audience back to 1985 with its amazing set, beautiful costumes, and vibrant music, capturing the essence of 80s nostalgia.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Additional evening performances are set for 7:30 p.m. on June 11-13, with a final 2 p.m. matinee on June 14. Tickets are priced at $55 for adults and $49 for seniors and students.
