Sisters Rodeo

The Sisters Rodeo, celebrating its 86th year in 2026, is a prominent professional rodeo event and community festival held in Sisters, Oregon. Historically known as "The Biggest Little Show in the World" due to its competitive prize money that rivals larger rodeos, it continues to impress with increased purses, placing it among the top 40 Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) sanctioned events globally.

The event spans six days, beginning on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with a golf tournament at Black Butte Ranch and an evening meet and greet featuring rodeo personalities and family activities. Main rodeo performances are scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday. Other highlights include the free Sisters Rodeo Parade on Saturday, which brings horses, floats, and community organizations through downtown Sisters, and the traditional Sisters Kiwanis Buckaroo Breakfast on Sunday morning at the Rodeo grounds. Church services are also held in the arena on Sunday.

While online tickets for performances often sell out, attendees can check the main ticket booth for day-of availability or purchase a Red Rock Corral wristband for $20 to watch live broadcasts on TV with access to food and drink vendors, as there is no arena access from this area. The Rodeo is also broadcast nationally on the Cowboy Channel. Limited on-site parking is available, with a free shuttle service running from the Sisters Parks & Recreation building. The event is a 501(c)(4) membership organization, largely powered by volunteers and community support.
