O+ Festival

The O+ Festival, established in Kingston in 2010, operates as a registered non-profit organization dedicated to building a new system of healthcare for artists. Over three days, the festival transforms Kingston into a vibrant hub, offering access to over 50 artists, dozens of workshops, and a parade across numerous venues. Attendees can purchase a single wristband for entry, with tickets operating on a "pay what you can" basis.

Performers at the O+ Festival receive compensation in the form of high-quality, free healthcare services, which include dental care, cancer screenings, massages, and Reiki. Upon participation, artists join a funded healthcare network that provides lifelong support. The festival also features an extensive art program with interactive and permanent displays, notably including a signature mural program. The 2026 festival's theme is "MO+NUMENTS," exploring what society chooses to honor and elevate.

Events are scheduled across various Kingston venues such as Camp Kingston, the Old Dutch Church, Snapper Magee’s, Keegan Ales, and Rough Draft Bar & Books. The festival kicks off with workshops starting Friday morning, October 9, followed by the O+ Parade at 6 p.m. outside Keegan Ales. Musical acts, including headliners like MC Lars, DJ Alexis Krauss, Doug Gillard of Guided by Voices, Hudson Valley singer-songwriter Matt Pond PA, and The Mammals, continue late into the evenings throughout the weekend.
