Summer Fun for Everyone

The Summer Fun for Everyone festival is a free, inclusive community event hosted by the Burlington County Library System. Scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM, it will take place at the Main Branch Library, located at 5 Pioneer Boulevard, Westampton. The festival marks the launch of the library's annual Summer Reading Program and aims to spotlight its adaptive materials, inclusive spaces, and comprehensive programming designed for individuals of all abilities.

The event will feature a variety of inclusive activities, live entertainment, and opportunities for families to connect with community resources. Highlights include a sensory-friendly activity zone offering tactile play, soft seating, visual supports, and quiet areas. Attendees can also enjoy inclusive live entertainment, such as interactive magic performances by magician Jake Strong and a hands-on musical instrument play zone provided by Keeping Music Alive. Additionally, adaptive arts and creativity stations will be available, catering to all skill levels and motor abilities.

A significant component of the festival is a community resource fair, where representatives from local organizations, disability advocates, family support services, and various Burlington County departments will offer information about educational programs and resources. This initiative is supported by a $13,000 state grant, enabling the library system to expand its inclusive programming, including Sensory Storytime and Special Needs Social Hour events, and acquire new materials to assist children with diverse learning needs. The festival underscores the library's commitment to being a welcoming and accessible place for all residents.
