Nez Perce County Fair

The Nez Perce County Fair is held in Lewiston, Nez Perce County, running from Thursday, September 24, to Sunday, September 27. This annual county fair offers traditional attractions including agricultural exhibits, 4-H and FFA youth livestock shows, art exhibits, carnival rides, and a variety of food vendors.

A notable addition for this year is the debut of a beer station, serving local brews from establishments like Groundwork Brewing in Lewiston and Riverport Brews in Clarkston. Located near the concert stage with expanded seating, this station operates with specific precautions: a two-beverage limit per purchase, age verification with hand stamps, and restricted serving hours (e.g., 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, 4-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, no service on Sunday). Beer consumption is permitted in the food and vendor court and main pavilion, but restricted from the carnival, livestock barns, or parking lots, serving as a test for future events.

Beyond beverages, the fair enhances its culinary experience with new vendors such as MacDaddy's, offering gourmet macaroni and cheese, and Malama Smoothies and Coffee Co., known for acai bowls. These new additions complement classic fair foods including hamburgers, corn dogs, elephant ears, and deep-fried Oreos. Visitors will also find fairgrounds improvements, including aesthetic upgrades to the main fair pavilion entrance and fully renovated, accessible stand-alone bathrooms originally built in the 1950s.
