Lumberjack Show

The Lumberjack Show, an annual fall tradition, will be held on October 3, 2026, at Selmi’s Family Farm, located at 1206 Dixon Ave. in Rock Falls. Organized in partnership with Rock Falls Tourism, the event is designed to offer a full day of family-friendly entertainment, showcasing the skills of Lumberjack Enterprises.

Attendees can enjoy three thrilling lumberjack shows presented at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., with each performance lasting approximately 30 minutes. Children will have the chance to engage in hands-on activities during the interactive lumberjack kids’ camp, scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, the popular women’s skillet-throwing competition will commence at 2 p.m., inviting women aged 18 and older to test their unique underhand throwing skills. The competition has a $5 entry fee, with registration available in advance through Rock Falls Tourism or on event day at Selmi’s Family Farm by 1 p.m., and prizes awarded to top competitors across two age categories based on distance and accuracy.

Admission to Selmi’s Family Farm for the event day costs $10 at the gate or $9 if purchased online. This admission fee covers access to all lumberjack shows, the interactive kids' camp, the women's skillet-throwing competition, and other activities available at the farm. Visitors can also indulge in a variety of food and refreshments throughout the day, including hot apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies, kettle corn, and offerings from Brito’s Grill and Good News Coffee.
