The 2026 Natchez Reads community program culminates with its final event on Friday, September 25, at 6:30 p.m. This program takes place at historic Auburn, located at 400 Duncan Avenue in Natchez, Mississippi. The event will feature New York Times bestselling author Lauren Willig, who will discuss her novel, "The Girl From Greenwich Street: A Novel of Hamilton, Burr, and America’s First Murder Trial." This historical fiction piece revisits the true story surrounding the 1800 Levi Weeks murder trial.

Prior to the author discussion, the Historic Natchez Foundation will offer free tours of the Auburn house, starting at 3:30 p.m. The Natchez Reads annual program, which began in April and provided various community reading opportunities throughout the summer, is supported by sponsors including the Natchez National Historical Park, the Historic Natchez Foundation, The Judge George Armstrong Library, the City of Natchez, Dixon Books, and the Mississippi Book Festival. This event is free and open to the public.
