Conducted by Jed Gaylin, the Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra performs a program that bridges traditional masterpieces with modern compositions. Featured soloist Ava Pakiam will perform Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto. The concert also marks the debut of "Chariot of the Clouds," an energetic piece by University of Michigan graduate Matthew Kimbley, which was created through a special commissioning initiative.

The evening program further includes Franz Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 104, popularly known as the "London" symphony. The orchestra is comprised of more than 30 professional musicians from the surrounding region.

Attendees are invited to arrive one hour early for a pre-concert talk. During this session, Music Director Jed Gaylin shares background information on the selected works and answers questions from the audience in an informal setting.
