The Schizophonics, formed in San Diego in 2009 by husband and wife Pat and Lety Beers, bring their garage rock sound, heavily influenced by proto-punk acts like the MC5 and The Stooges, as well as Little Richard and James Brown. They have released three albums, with a fourth, “Burning Floor,” expected in the fall. The band has previously opened for acts such as Cage the Elephant and Devo.

The event at Moe's Alley will feature opening performances by Palm Desert rockers Fever Dog and Monterey surf/garage band The Tremolos. DJ Archive 65 will also be spinning tunes.
