The Oley Valley Community Fair, celebrating its 79th annual edition, is themed "1776-2026 – Celebrating the Stars and Stripes at the Oley Fair," marking a significant historical span. Held at the Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds, located at 26 Jefferson St. in Oley, the event offers free admission for visitors, with a $5 parking fee.

A central attraction of the fair is its diverse range of contests. Among the popular competitions are the Decorated Bowling Pin and Decorate a Pumpkin contests. Entries for these and other fair competitions are open to residents of Alsace, Amity, Earl, Exeter, Pike, Rockland, Ruscombmanor, and Oley townships, as well as Oley Valley School District employees and Berks Career & Technology Center students. Participants in the pumpkin contest may paint or decorate their pumpkins with fabrics or other attachments, but carving is not permitted. Retired bowling pins for the contest are donated by the Oley Valley Women’s Bowling League. The fair is also known for its various food offerings, including famous french fries.
