Homegrown Festival

The Homegrown Festival, presented by Next Stage Arts, is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, at West River Park in Brattleboro, Vermont. This family-friendly outdoor cultural performance series is part of the broader Bandwagon Summer Series and invites audiences of all ages to celebrate the creative talent of Southern Vermont and the surrounding region.

The festival begins at 4 p.m., with gates opening an hour earlier at 3 p.m. Attendees can enjoy an eclectic afternoon filled with a blend of music, circus arts, dancing, and community spirit. The musical lineup is headlined by The Gaslight Tinkers, known for their sound that merges African, Caribbean, funk, reggae, and Latin grooves with traditional New England fiddle and Celtic influences. Additionally, Zara Bodé’s Little Big Band will bring swing, jazz, and vintage country to the stage.

Adding a visual dimension to the event, students from the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) will present a showcase of aerialists and acrobats, promising high-flying feats and creative movement. The festival is designed for a diverse audience, offering a dedicated play area for children and free admission for kids under 12. Refreshments, including a bar and food from local vendors, will be available for purchase onsite.
