Lakeside Series

The 2026 Lakeside Series returns to the Lakeside Pavilion on the College of DuPage campus, offering free outdoor entertainment on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The season typically runs from early July through early August, with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. The series is known for its eclectic programming, ranging from professional symphonic music to high-energy tribute bands and contemporary R&B.

The 2026 lineup includes the Chicago Brass Band, the New Philharmonic orchestra, and specific jazz nights hosted in collaboration with WDCB. Featured performers include C.J. Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band and the Rhinestone Cowgirls. Many of the performances this season are presented as part of the regional celebrations for America's 250th anniversary.

In addition to the weekday concerts, the series concludes with a special 40th Anniversary Festival for the McAninch Arts Center in late August. This final celebration features food trucks, live mural painting, and a headline performance by the 80s dance band Sixteen Candles. All events are free to the public, and in the case of inclement weather, concerts are moved indoors to the Belushi Performance Hall.
