Park City Jewish Festival

The Park City Jewish Festival, now in its second year, serves as a significant cultural hub for the Jewish community in Utah. Organized by Rabbi Yudi Steiger, the event is held at the Canyons in Park City and attracts attendees from across the region, including groups from Salt Lake City and St. George. The festival is free and open to the general public, aiming to highlight shared human experiences through the lens of Jewish culture and tradition.

Musical performances are the centerpiece of the festival, featuring a diverse lineup of artists. Notable performers include the African American rapper Nissim Black, the musical group The 8th Day, and rising Israeli singer Chaim Zippel. The music performed often spans several languages, including English and Hebrew, with themes focused on faith, gratitude, and peace. The 2026 event notably served as the starting point for Chaim Zippel’s first world tour.

In addition to the concert atmosphere, the festival offers food and opportunities for communal dancing and social interaction. Security for the event is coordinated with local officials, including the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, to ensure a safe environment for all participants. The gathering also serves as a platform to honor influential local figures, such as Rabbi Benny Zippel, who has been instrumental in the growth of the Utah Jewish community.
