Northwest Expressions

The Northwest Expressions exhibition presents a curated selection of regional art at the Jeanette Best Gallery. Juried by Anne Pfeiffer, the 2026 show highlights the creativity of artists from 16 different communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. The exhibit includes a diverse array of 50 works, spanning two- and three-dimensional media such as clay, watercolor, textile art, and printmaking.

Visitors to the gallery can participate in the People's Choice Award by voting for their favorite pieces, with the winner announced at the conclusion of the show. A Juror’s Choice Award is also presented on opening day, with both honors carrying a cash prize. The collection explores various themes including local landscapes, seascapes, and abstract compositions that reflect the unique atmosphere of the region.

Special programming includes the First Saturday Art Walk on July 4, where the gallery remains open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering the public a chance to meet the featured artists. The Jeanette Best Gallery maintains regular hours from noon to 5 p.m., Thursday through Monday, and admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
